Menzies introduces ESG consultancy service
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM — Professional services firm Menzies is expanding its business advisory service to include Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy development.
The London-based company intends to help clients develop and implement ESG strategies or reassess existing ones. Services also include carbon footprinting to identify carbon reduction opportunities and strategies to bolster social value creation.
Its new ESG consulting service will be led by Head of Finance and Sustainability, Richard Singleton.
“A well-considered ESG strategy has become integral to a business’ success – it’s intertwined with their reputation and identity. It’s becoming standard practice for businesses to be asked about their ESG performance when pitching for new business, tendering for contracts or when candidates are applying for jobs – and they have to be able to answer successfully and confidently,” Singleton explained.
Recent studies project a double-digit compound annual growth rate for the global ESG consulting market until 2027, reaching $16 billion.
Consumer preference increasingly favors businesses with strong ESG records, prompting many consulting and accounting firms to incorporate sustainability services. Top business process outsourcing (BPO) firms with ESG consultancy services include Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys.
