Oracle Academy orients educators about AI, analytics, and machine learning

Oracle Academy in the Philippines recently discussed with educators how the academy can assist them in introducing artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and machine learning (ML) to their computer science courses and curricula. Mina Lim, Oracle Philippines’ managing director, urged the 28 educators from eighteen higher education institutions across the country to make use of Oracle Academy’s free resources for teaching computer science amid the growing demand for computer science skills. Janet Uy, Oracle’s big data analytic sales consulting lead for Southeast Asia, described how Oracle AI, ML, and data analytics can help students, teachers, and practitioners face the AI era with ease. Meanwhile, Anton Ancheta, senior director for Oracle NetSuite, discussed opportunities for students with knowledge and skills in NetSuite, a business management solution that offers a one-stop access to enterprise resource planning, ecommerce, customer relationship management, and supply chain management tools. Business course teachers use NetSuite to orient students about modern business processes and financial systems in the cloud.
