The global outbound telemarketing industry will hit a value of US$12.2 billion by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 3.7% during the forecast period from 2017 to 2025, according to a report from Transparency Market Research (TMR). The report said the business-to-consumer segment is expected to account for a significant revenue share and expand at a rapid pace. TMR also found that the global market is dominated by Asia Pacific in terms of revenue, due to the low labor costs for outsourcing services in certain countries, such as China, the Philippines and India, with China leading the growth of the global market during the forecast period, followed by Japan.
According to the report, companies are focusing on providing specialist services in multilingual marketing, lead generation and data procurement to take advantage of growth opportunities. Top companies such as Concentrix Corporation, Atento S.A., TeleTech Holdings Inc., Alorica Inc., Teleperformance Group Inc., Arvato AG, Marketone International LLP and Convergys Corporation are also increasingly offering value-added services like surveys, benchmarking, database intelligence and social network monitoring to strengthen their market share.
