Philippine-based game developer Secret 6 expands in Madrid
Philippine-based game development studio Secret 6 has announced its expansion in Madrid with the launch of Secret 6 Madrid SL, which will hire top talent from Europe. On its website, Secret 6 said its Madrid studio will support the company’s European clients and also help expand its service coverage into more time zones. Secret 6 Madrid is currently working in partnership with Secret 6 Manila on the art assets for an upcoming PlayStation 4 title, set for release in 2019. In Manila, Secret 6 works on 3D art for AAA titles, 2D art, and full game production across all gaming platforms. Secret 6 first entered Madrid in 2017 through a partnership with Voxel School, providing recent graduates with on-site production training. The Madrid unit is the first art-outsourcing studio in the city for AAA games.
