Philips International buys the Nash Group’s health units

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Philips International completed its acquisition of three healthcare businesses, combining consulting, staffing, acuity, and international nurse recruitment capabilities under a single corporate platform.

The acquired entities are The Nash Group, Inc., Advance Solutions International, Inc., and Nursing Advisory Service. No financial terms were disclosed.

Capital backing for Nash’s healthcare consulting platform

The Nash Group has served hospitals and health systems for more than three decades, offering healthcare operations consulting, staffing and acuity solutions, hospital technology services, and domestic and international nurse recruitment.

According to a press release, Philips International’s investment is intended to scale that platform through enhanced technology, stronger operational infrastructure, and expanded business development capacity.

“The Nash businesses have built valuable expertise, longstanding relationships and differentiated solutions addressing operational and workforce challenges in healthcare. We look forward to partnering with the Nash leadership and employees to strengthen the platform, support customers and pursue sustainable long-term growth,” said Adrian Miller, managing director, corporate M&A at Philips International.

Expanding capacity while preserving client commitments

The transaction provides Nash access to Philips International’s capital base and acquisition development infrastructure, enabling the scaling of its workforce analytics and nurse recruitment methodologies to serve a wider hospital client base.

Despite the change in ownership, Nash clients continue to work with the same leadership and methodology that has served hospitals for more than 30 years.

“This partnership gives us the capital to scale our proven methodologies when health systems need operational efficiency. Our clients will receive the same commitment to excellence they have trusted for 30 years, now supported by enhanced technology, stronger recruitment infrastructure and deeper operational capacity,” said David Ledersnaider, chief operating officer at The Nash Group.

The acquisition reflects growing private capital interest in healthcare consulting and staffing, where hospital clients increasingly seek managed services partners able to address workforce, technology, and operational efficiency through a single engagement.

Healthcare business process outsourcing (BPO) has expanded well beyond billing and claims to include nurse recruitment, acuity management, and clinical workflow consulting, functions the three acquired Nash entities collectively cover.

Philips International’s established acquisition platform positions the combined business to pursue further consolidation in a sector where recruitment network depth and operational scale determine long-term competitive advantage.Nash Group
