South Africa hailed as the most-favored CX offshore delivery point

South Africa was voted as the most-favored customer experience (CX) offshore delivery point for the second consecutive year by the Ryan Strategic Advisory Front Office BPO Omnibus Survey.
According to the poll, the areas of Cape Town and Western Cape are the most “sought after” locations for offshore CX delivery in South Africa, improving the country’s market share by 65% in 2021.
Moreover, about 4,100 new call center jobs were created within the industry between January and September 2022
Commenting on this recognition, mayoral committee member for economic opportunities and asset management Alderman James Vos said that more offices are still scheduled to open in Q4 as global businesses recognize Cape Town’s workforce.
The international BPO market in Cape Town contributed around R14 billion (US$763 million) to the metro’s economy in 2021 and employs around 69,000 of SA’s workforce.
