Startup Valencia to promote AI in upcoming summit

VALENCIA, SPAIN — Private non-profit organization Startup Valencia will highlight a wide range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), mobility, sustainability, the future of work, and the potential of blockchain technology in the upcoming Valencia Digital Summit 2023 (VDS2023).
Scheduled for October 26th and 27th, the summit aims to convene global economic and tech leaders to address significant social challenges and delve into the transformative role of technology and innovation.
It will also serve as a platform for over 1,500 startups to connect, collaborate, and showcase their cutting-edge work.
“The future is already here, and VDS2023 provides a valuable opportunity to understand and shape what lies ahead,” said Startup Valencia President Juan Luis Hortelano.
VDS2023 is expected to attract over 10,000 attendees from more than 80 countries, featuring over 400 international investors with an investment portfolio surpassing €8 billion (US$8.57 billion).
With over 1,200 startups and an investment exceeding €700 million (US$750 million), the Valencian tech and innovation ecosystem has become one of the fastest growing in Europe and the third largest in Spain in terms of investment volume.
Its appealing climate, affordable cost of living, and international community shaped the city into a magnet for digital nomads and tech startups.
“Valencia will transform into the global epicenter of innovation during the week of VDS2023, further elevating the city’s position on the world stage. The event will shine a spotlight on regional startups and showcase their groundbreaking work to a global audience,” Hortelano added.
