Teleperformance acquires ZP Better Together for $490Mn
PARIS, FRANCE — Global digital business services leader Teleperformance has announced its acquisition of ZP Better Together, a Texas-based provider of communication solutions for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, in a deal valued at $490 million.
Strategic expansion in specialized services
The acquisition will integrate ZP into TP’s LanguageLine Solutions, strengthening its position as the world’s largest language services provider.

These services are designed to address highly specific demands that require critical knowledge and distinctive expertise, while ensuring long-term value and meaningful impact.”
ZP Better Together, headquartered in Austin, is projected to generate revenues exceeding $230 million in 2024.

Service portfolio enhancement
The merger combines ZP’s specialized communication services, including Video Relay Service (VRS), Video Remote Interpreting (VRI), Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART), and trilingual sign language interpreting services, with Teleperformance’s comprehensive AI-powered service portfolio.
Teleperformance’s service range encompasses:
- Front office customer care
- Back-office functions
- Operations consulting
- Digital transformation services
- Specialized services including collections and visa services
Global reach and financial impact
Teleperformance, which reported consolidated revenue of €8,345 million (US$9 billion) and net profit of €602 million (US$636 million) in 2023, operates in nearly 100 countries worldwide. It recently ranked #2 in the 2024 OA500, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. This is the second year the company clinched the index’s top 2 spot.
The company’s debt-financed acquisition is expected to maintain a debt-to-EBITDA ratio below 2x through 2025, demonstrating strong financial management.
