Telus aims for healthy work-life balance with star-studded staff night out

The management and employees of Telus International Philippines recently enjoyed a night of entertainment at the Globe Circuit Grounds in Makati as part of the company’s annual Town Hall event. This saw the 7,500-strong workforce of the Manila-headquartered customer service outsourcing specialist assemble to enjoy the music of Morisette, Kamikazee, Parokya ni Edgar, Ben&Ben, Ultra Combo, Mark Thompson, Patty Tiu and A-Team.

Commenting on the importance of this annual night out for employees, Carlos Giammattei, the company’s brand, marketing and culture director, said Telus always prioritized a healthy work-life balance, seeing it as a vital element in maintaining a positive work environment. The Town Hall is one of the largest events on the company’s calendar and is intended to allow team members, long-time partners and leaders to gather and enjoy the more fun elements of the company’s culture. This year, the Town Hall was hosted by Luis Manzano, a well-known national TV host, and Alex Diaz, a popular Filipino recording artist.
