transcosmos opens 70th operations base in Japan
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider transcosmos recently opened its 70th operations base in Japan located in Sapporo City, Hokkaido to accommodate their continuous business growth.
In a statement, the outsourcing firm said that this new facility would focus on offering IT helpdesk services to clients locally and abroad.
In partnership with the BPO Center Sapporo Tanukikoji that opened in 2019, transcosmos’s new center will also offer the right IT support services to help clients’ business activities in the market where the move towards DX continues to accelerate.
transcosmos’ Sapporo Tanukikoji East center is equipped with around 160 virtual workspaces to enable agents to work both at the center and from home. In addition, the firm has actively adopted energy-saving equipment and technology and carried out SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) -conscious initiatives at the center —- including curbing power consumption and using thinned wood from Hokkaido for some fixtures.
The firm also promised to continue to help clients make the most of IT and offer services that underpin their operational transformation. transcosmos added that they aim to serve society by solving challenges through business activities while creating job opportunities in local communities.
