IT job postings in the United States grew by 39% year over year in the third quarter, according to the “Q3 Tech Job Report” by IT jobs website Dice.
Based on the report, Jacksonville, Florida ranked as the market with the fastest growth in IT job postings.
The third-quarter report also noted that the state of Texas continues to build its reputation as a major technology hub rivaling California with six of its cities experiencing growth in tech job openings.
Dice CEO Art Zeile said that “the need for skilled technologists will only become more acute“ as companies shift to a hybrid working model and “make a push to transform products and solutions to reflect the new environment.”
