X formally launches new job hiring tool

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has officially introduced its new job hiring feature called XHiring Beta, marking its entry into the professional networking domain.
The feature, currently in beta testing, is available to premium subscribers. For a monthly fee of $1,000, organizations can display job listings on their profiles.
Job details can be uploaded via selected Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or an XML feed. However, organizations with verified status on X can showcase up to five job positions without extra charges.
While XHiring Beta may not rival LinkedIn in comprehensiveness, CNBCTV18 noted that it offers a fresh approach for companies to diversify their hiring methods.
Industry observers suggest this move positions X closer to becoming an all-encompassing app in the tech world.
The development of the XHiring feature is influenced by the company’s acquisition of the job-matching platform Laskie last May.
Laskie former CEO Chris Bakke said that X will soon enhance job search and matchmaking on its platforms.
Following the reveal of this feature, there are indications of X rolling out a standalone job search tool, as alluded to by a preview from app researcher Nima Owji, possibly titled ‘Twitter Hiring.’
