Davao City to host National ICT Summit 2018
Key ICT executives, chief informations officers, academics, and stakeholders are expected to attend the upcoming National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Summit 2018 in Davao City from June 21 to 22. Government ICT executives and managers are also expected to join the summit as Malacañang calls on everyone to participate to further map out the growth of the country’s ICT sector. With the theme “Empowering the Filipino through Digital Transformation,” the National ICT Summit 2018 is a venue for information sharing, presentation and discussion of programs, initiatives, policies, and innovative solutions.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea issued a memorandum urging all heads of departments, bureaus, and offices including government-owned or controlled corporations and their subsidiaries, government financial institutions, local government units, and state universities and colleges to lend full support to the National ICT Summit 2018.
