Cognizant selected a AWS outposts partner
IT services provider Cognizant announced that it has been named a partner for AWS Outposts, an Amazon hybrid cloud product that lets customers operate their applications both on Amazon’s cloud and their private data centers. As an AWS Outposts Partner, Cognizant said its trained and vetted experts are allowed to re-architect complex workloads to run on AWS operations in order to deliver positive customer outcomes at scale.
The company added that it is also allowed to collaborate with clients to re-architect complex enterprise IT workloads to modernize and back their on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures. Raja Renganathan, vice president for AWS Global Business at Cognizant, said offering AWS Outposts will help clients experience AWS native features on-premises, allowing them to build and run modern and secure digital platforms. He explained that AWS Outposts is a combination of cloud economics and the integrated management of a hybrid infrastructure to modernize IT workloads faster, drive efficiencies, and unlock new business opportunities.
