+OneX acquires MMC to enhance cybersecurity offerings

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA — +OneX, a new-age solutions and systems integrator within the Reunert Group, has acquired cybersecurity and managed services company MMC to enhance its cloud and digital transformation portfolio.
The deal, whose terms were not disclosed, will enable +OneX to offer comprehensive cybersecurity and Compliance as a Service (CaaS) solutions to its clients.
MMC is a Microsoft Solutions Partner that specializes in business-critical IT managed services, particularly in cybersecurity and information security. The company has a team of Microsoft specialists that helps businesses of all sizes protect their data and people from cyber threats. MMC also offers data privacy and compliance services that help companies monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.
Adam Whittington, the managing director of MMC, will lead +OneX Security & Services, which assists companies with all aspects of cybersecurity from endpoint to cloud, emphasizing people, processes, and technology. The acquisition will enable +OneX to scale up its cybersecurity business by leveraging MMC’s platforms and skills.
