Accenture announces key leadership changes

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — In a move to bolster its technological innovation and asset engineering, Accenture has announced the appointment of Rajendra Prasad as Chief Information and Asset Engineering Officer, effective July 1.
This new role puts Prasad at the helm of Accenture’s internal technology development and support for client assets. Prasad, who brings over 28 years of industry experience, has been instrumental in driving automation and innovation throughout Accenture’s IT lifecycle.
“With Rajendra’s appointment, we continue to pioneer both internal technology and asset engineering to drive new performance frontiers for Accenture and our clients,” said Accenture’s Chief Operating Officer Manish Sharma.
Accenture has also announced that Penelope Prett will succeed Gloria Samuels as Global Lead for Accenture’s Workday Business Group. Prett’s background in technology, consulting, and outsourcing services across multiple industries is seen as invaluable. She spearheaded the implementation of Workday for Accenture’s workforce, marking one of the largest Workday deployments worldwide.
Samuels will retire on August 14 after an accomplished tenure at Accenture, where she played a key role in enhancing Accenture’s partnership with Workday.
