MaxContact onboards Howard Watson amid key leadership reshuffle

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — Leading United Kingdom-based customer engagement software specialist, MaxContact, announced the strategic appointment of telecoms industry veteran, Howard Watson, as their new Sales Director.
Watson, previously with CCaaS provider Puzzel, brings nearly three decades of sales expertise to the table, notably having amplified a team’s Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from £500,000 (US$619,000) to an impressive £30 million (US$37 million).
The move sees Richard Coward, formerly in the Sales Director role, transition to MaxContact’s new Enterprise and Strategic Partner Director. In this capacity, Coward will spearhead efforts to identify and forge strategic partnerships globally that resonate with the firm’s ethos, with the objective of enhancing revenue streams and driving solution innovation.
Watson’s remit will encompass oversight of the Account Management and Business Development teams, emphasizing MaxContact’s growth-oriented culture, spotting new market verticals, and crafting effective go-to-market strategies.

This leadership recalibration, in tandem with recent funding boosts, places MaxContact in a position for future growth. Founded in 2015, the firm’s rise has seen it being consecutively recognized as one of the North’s top 50 fastest-growing tech enterprises from 2021-2023 and clinching the IT Vendor of the Year Award in 2022.
