Mountaingate Capital exits Relevate Health

COLORADO and OHIO, UNITED STATES — Mountaingate Capital exited its investment in Relevate Health, the healthcare commercialization platform the Denver-based private equity firm backed in 2020, after completing four strategic add-on acquisitions and building out the company’s proprietary ELE Decision Engine technology. The buyer was not identified and no deal value was disclosed.

Mountaingate grows Relevate into pharma commercialization leader

Relevate Health serves pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations with commercialization capabilities spanning clinical decision engagement, omnichannel marketing, medical communications, learning activation, and analytics.

Mountaingate first partnered with Relevate in 2020, completing four strategic add-on acquisitions over six years and investing in platform infrastructure and leadership to build Relevate into an independent technology-enabled healthcare commercialization company.

“It has been tremendously rewarding to support the world-class management team at Relevate as they executed the plan we collectively envisioned at the outset of our partnership. We have no doubt they will continue to set the standard within the pharmaceutical commercialization space and we look forward to following their next phase of growth,” said Bruce Rogers, co-founder and managing director of Mountaingate Capital.

ELE Decision Engine anchors Relevate’s commercialization platform

Relevate’s platform combines first-party healthcare data, advanced artificial intelligence (AI), and its proprietary ELE Decision Engine to help life sciences organizations reach clinicians and decision-makers across commercialization strategy, media, technology, and gaming channels.

Houlihan Lokey advised Relevate and Mountaingate on the transaction, with Latham & Watkins serving as legal counsel, reflecting the deal’s scale despite the buyer’s identity and financial terms remaining undisclosed.

“We’re grateful to Mountaingate for their partnership and support throughout an important chapter in Relevate’s growth. Their investment helped strengthen our platform, expand our capabilities, and position the company for this exciting next phase,” said Tim Pantello, chief executive officer at Relevate Health.

Private equity exits from healthcare technology platforms have accelerated through 2026, driven by buyer appetite for companies that combine proprietary data assets with managed service delivery at scale.

For healthcare outsourcing and business process outsourcing (BPO) practitioners, Relevate’s commercialization model illustrates how pharmaceutical companies are increasingly delegating analytics, communications, and omnichannel execution to specialist managed services platforms rather than building these capabilities in-house.

The undisclosed buyer profile suggests a strategic acquirer seeking to absorb Relevate’s data and AI infrastructure into a broader life sciences services portfolio.
