Seen as worthy of particular merit was the AI-powered digitized and automated email response management system the company had developed for one of India’s biggest e-commerce firms, which was said to have reduced the need for high staffing levels, while offering instant resolution of issues that it had previously taken several days to address.
The introduction of the system also raised the frequency with which critical issues were followed up from 30% to 100%. Acknowledging the importance of such recognition for the company, Wayne White, Startek’s global chief information officer, said the win would inspire them to renew their focus on advanced technology solutions as they looked to help clients bridge any digital gaps in their customer services offering. Now in its 14th edition, the IDG India CIO 100 Awards seek to honors businesses that have demonstrated the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in the information technology (IT) sector, with this year’s awards highlighting organizations that have successfully integrated new technologies and changed the way their businesses function through the innovative use of IT.
