Belgium eyes ICT partnership in Iloilo
Belgian Ambassador to the Philippines Michel Goffin said Belgium is looking to link-up with Iloilo’s information and communications technology (ICT) sector. His pronouncement came just days after Iloilo returned to the top 100 global outsourcing destinations, securing 92nd spot in Tholons’ 2018 Services Globalization Index. Goffin said he will bring Belgian business to Iloilo, as well as convince five or more Belgian businesses to attend a business forum in Iloilo next year. Aside from the ICT sector, Belgium, known for its beer and chocolates, is also keen on exploring opportunities in the food and beverage industry.
