Industry stakeholders to meet at entrepreneurs’ summit, innovation expo
Stakeholders from various industries will convene at the Entrepreneurs’ Summit and Cebu Innovation Expo at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on June 12-14 to share strategies on enterprise development and increasing the innovation capabilities of micro, small, and medium enterprises. Expected to attend the summit and expo are policymakers, business sector representatives, academics, innovators/inventors, and professionals from innovation centers and other business support organizations. The event is part of the annual Cebu Business Month, whose 2019 theme is “Innovation in Action.” The summit will feature speakers who will discuss their journeys as entrepreneurs, while the expo, which is geared towards firms looking to “adopt, borrow, or acquire” useful inventions, will host exhibitors and stakeholders from different industries and sectors. A business matching session and a job fair are among the highlights of the event.
