Philippines to receive 2.3 million doses of Pfizer vaccines by June
The COVAX Facility and Gavi confirmed the Philippines would receive 2,355,210 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines no later than June, said vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr.
The Philippine government and Pfizer completely ironed out the issue after the cancelation of the first supposed COVID-19 vaccine shipment in the country.
Lawmakers are working with the government in giving vaccine manufacturers immunity from complaints resulting from the administration of their vaccines “except arising from willful misconduct and gross negligence.”
