Prochant secures PE investment from Longshore Capital

NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES — Prochant, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) services for home-based care, has secured a private equity (PE) investment from Longshore Capital Partners, the company announced in a report from HME Business.
Prochant serves home and durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers, infusion providers, and specialty pharmacy companies, combining revenue cycle expertise with technology-enabled workflows, analytics, and scalable services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Prochant to accelerate growth with Longshore’s backing
The investment will fund Prochant’s push to enhance client experiences, advance its technology and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, expand service capacity, and develop additional RCM solutions for home-based care providers.
Prochant’s focus on the home-based care segment positions it at the intersection of revenue cycle outsourcing and specialty healthcare services, a market driven by rising demand for home health alternatives to institutional care.
“This partnership represents an important milestone for Prochant and a strong validation of the company our team has built. Longshore shares our conviction in the opportunity to combine deep revenue cycle expertise, purpose-built technology and exceptional client service to help home-based care providers improve financial and operational performance,” said Joey Graham, CEO at Prochant.
Longshore backs Prochant’s leadership in home care RCM
Longshore Capital Partners invests in businesses with differentiated positions in specialized service markets, and Prochant’s track record managing complex billing and reimbursement workflows for home health providers attracted the firm to the deal.
The investment preserves Prochant’s existing leadership and operational culture while adding capital and PE resources to accelerate growth in the home-based care RCM market.
“We are impressed by the strength of the management team, the quality of the client relationships, and the company’s track record of execution. We look forward to supporting Prochant as it continues to scale and build on its leadership position in home-based care revenue cycle management,” said Alex Mueckl, Principal at Longshore Capital Partners.
The deal reflects continued private equity interest in healthcare revenue cycle management, a segment growing alongside the shift toward home-based care delivery as payers and providers seek to manage costs outside of hospital settings.
For the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, investments like this signal the maturation of home care RCM as a distinct outsourcing category, separate from traditional hospital billing and reimbursement.
As specialty pharmacy, infusion therapy, and home health providers scale their operations, demand for technology-enabled RCM services capable of navigating complex payer rules and reimbursement structures is rising.
