SoftServe acquires India’s NewVision Software

TEXAS, UNITED STATES — SoftServe has acquired NewVision Software, an India-based technology services firm specializing in agentic assurance, product engineering, and intelligent managed services.

According to a company press release, SoftServe, which employs more than 10,000 people across 15 countries, said the acquisition strengthens its global delivery network and positions it to serve enterprise clients with Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. NewVision Software (newvisionsoftware.com) will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under its current name and brand.

SoftServe adds India capacity for enterprise GCC clients

NewVision Software operates across India, the United States, and the Middle East, specializing in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven digital transformation, cloud modernization, and product engineering for enterprise clients.

SoftServe’s acquisition gives it a physical presence close to enterprise clients running GCCs in India, improving regional responsiveness for large-scale technology transformation programs.

“NewVision’s acquisition is a strategic step in our effort to be closer to clients in every region where they operate and to deliver value across the full lifecycle of their technological transformations. Together, NewVision’s leadership, our shared culture, and our commitment to engineering excellence are broadening our ability to help organizations turn technology into a force for growth and lasting impact,” said Harry Propper, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at SoftServe.

NewVision team and brand continue under SoftServe ownership

CEO Kapil Godani and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Balan Ramaswamy will continue leading NewVision Software, maintaining the brand and client relationships built under independent ownership.

The combination gives enterprise clients a unified team across SoftServe’s 15-country network with expanded on-the-ground capacity in India, particularly for clients running GCCs or large-scale transformation programs.

“In SoftServe, we found a partner who shares this belief and brings world-class engineering excellence and a deep commitment to client success. Together, we can offer clients broader capabilities, greater scale and the ability to accelerate AI initiatives with confidence, while continuing to provide the collaborative, hands-on partnership our teams are known for,” said Kapil Godani, CEO at NewVision Software.

The acquisition reflects growing consolidation in technology services, as global technology firms build India delivery capacity to support enterprise clients expanding their GCC footprint.

For the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, the deal illustrates how agentic AI, cloud modernization, and managed services are converging into integrated delivery models that technology service providers are assembling through acquisition. India’s role as an enterprise technology hub is deepening as global services firms acquire local specialists to scale engineering capacity close to where their clients’ GCCs operate.
