Sitel Inaugurates Office in Tarlac
Sitel is an outsourcing firm based in the United States. In January, 2016, it opened its twelfth location at the Robinsons Mall in Tarlac City (Hacienda Luisita). This newly inaugurated facility is predicted to hire nearly 1,500 new staff members.
The BPO enterprise believes that it has chosen this new operational location very “strategically”. It highlights the company’s persistent confidence in the economy and developmental plans of the country. Sitel said that they picked Tarlac for one very important reason: its location. The region is home to highly-skilled and qualified personnel that are capable of delivering excellent customer service and can handle complicated outsourcing operations quite easily.
The launch of the BPO center was attended by several eminent personalities including Sitel’s Bert Quintana and Craig Reines as well as Lilia de Lima, director-general of Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) among others.
According to Craig Reines (chief operating officer of Sitel), the expansion move is designed to reinforce the company’s commitment towards increasing its presence throughout the nation. It is an effort to create greater job opportunities for Filipinos and continue developing regional and worldwide leadership
