TaskUs boosts Latin America presence with new Colombia office
TEXAS, UNITED STATES — Outsourced digital services provider TaskUs is making significant strides in Latin America by establishing a new facility in Medellin, Colombia.
The new center, ‘The Gallery,’ further solidifies TaskUs’ presence in the region, contributing to the company’s robust operations and meeting escalating demand.
The Gallery will be fully operational by September 2023 and will complement TaskUs’ other Colombian location, ‘The Arena,’ in Cali.
TaskUs‘ regional expansion reflects the growth of their client portfolio, which includes high-profile businesses from sports apparel, healthcare, e-commerce, and financial services sectors.
“The cultural richness and dynamic spirit of Medellin, along with the warm and welcoming nature of its people, make it the perfect location for our expansion. We are excited to collaborate with the local community, embrace their unique culture and contribute to the city’s economic growth,” said Pablo Gonzalez, Vice President of Operations in Medellin.
TaskUs’ COO Stephan Daoust emphasized Colombia’s role as a key growth area. “Colombia is one of our fastest growing regions and we are quickly adding capacity to meet the demand,” Daoust added.
TaskUs has a global workforce of approximately 47,700 across 27 locations in 13 countries, including the United States, the Philippines, and India.
