Wipro, AWS Roll Out Innovation Center
Wipro has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch a new co-innovation hub in Bengaluru, India, aimed at driving customer transformation agendas. The state-of-the-art facility called Wipro-AWS Launch Pad will enable specialized teams to “ideate, collaborate, develop and deliver” futuristic solutions with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, the internet of things, blockchain, and augmented and virtual reality.
Ramesh Nagarajan, senior vice president of Cloud at Wipro, said the launch pad will show what Wipro does best, which is to envision the future and develop transformative solutions for clients. Meanwhile, Ed Lenta, managing director of Asia Pacific at AWS, said that with the launch pad, Wipro will be able to showcase its innovative solutions on AWS Cloud. Wipro is a premier consulting partner within the AWS Partner Network (APN) with expertise in strategy, technology consulting and migration, cloud native application development, integration and managed services.
