FORT LAUDERDALE, UNITED STATES — iQor has launched a Global Gaming Center of Excellence in Trinidad and Tobago, adding specialized Player Support operations to a fourth dedicated international gaming hub.

According to iQor, the new center will serve a flagship video game publisher client, delivering support across more than 20 languages as part of the company’s network of 45,000 employees across 10 countries.

iQor builds Trinidad hub around player gaming expertise

The center features purpose-built training programs combining gaming knowledge with hands-on game stations and community context, positioning agents as active players rather than traditional customer service representatives.

The Trinidad hub joins existing Gaming Practice centers in Egypt, the Philippines, and Colombia, giving iQor a four-hub Player Support network across four continents.

iQor announced the launch on September 8 at a gaming industry conference in London.

“Players know right away whether the person helping them truly understands their game,” said John Pompei, vice president of Gaming Practice at iQor.

Caribbean footprint targets multilingual gaming clients

The new location brings iQor’s outsourcing presence into the Caribbean, a market with growing digital connectivity and English-language depth suited to international gaming clients across multiple genres and platforms.

Mill Point Capital-backed iQor operates more than 20 global delivery locations, with the gaming practice covering clients across voice, social, content moderation, and back-office channels.

Pompei added, “We built this program around people with real gaming knowledge and hands-on training, because great Player Support is about more than resolving an issue. It’s about protecting a player’s progress, building trust and strengthening their connection to the game.”

Gaming customer support has grown into a distinct segment of the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry as interactive entertainment revenues outpace those of film and music combined, drawing contact center specialists to invest in dedicated hubs staffed by agents with genuine gaming experience.

For video game publishers evaluating outsourced Player Support, iQor’s four-continent hub model offers gaming-fluent agents at the regional scale needed to serve global franchises around the clock, without the overhead of building in-house specialist teams.

With dedicated gaming hubs now operational across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, iQor is positioned to compete for consolidated, multi-region Player Support mandates as publishers seek top BPO companies capable of delivering specialist coverage at global scale.
