AmEx BPO Centre expansion in Taguig City

In another precedent which only goes to highlight the growing confidence of foreign companies into the investor friendly Philippines, American Express (AmEx) Co. has opened customer service outsourcing Centre at Bonifacio One Technology Tower in Taguig City’s Bonifacio Global City.

Currently, there are 400 employees that are working at the Business Process Outsourcing call center whose operations include taking calls and providing customer support to the company’s clients.

The multinational company now plans to triple its manpower by another year and half. The company is cautiously hiring resources to maintain their low attrition rate. The company will focus on grooming the Business Processing Outsourcing employees and attracting more talent across the country. As of now, there are 1300 seats at the BGC facility and are going to be used in two shifts to cater to the American clients in the credit and fraud unit. The Filipino culture.

The Business Process Outsourcing Industry is significant to the economy of Philippines and this industry is expected to revenues increase to the tune of 25 billion dollars and the manpower capacity is predicted to increase by 1.3 million in 2017 alone.
