Accenture top company in terms of diversity and inclusion

Accenture is the most diverse and inclusive workplace in the world, according to Refinitiv’s Diversity & Inclusion Index, which picks the 100 publicly traded firms with the most diverse and inclusive workplaces based on its environmental, social and governance (ESG) data. This is Accenture’s second consecutive year in the top spot and the fourth year it has been on the index. Julie Sweet, Accenture chief executive officer, said building a culture of equality where everyone can thrive is key to who they are as a company. Employees value each other’s unique backgrounds, skills and experience, and hold themselves accountable for progress against bold goals, she said.
The Diversity & Inclusion Index aims to measure the relative performance of companies based on factors that define diverse and inclusive workplaces. Refinitiv evaluated publicly available data for more than 7,000 firms worldwide based on 24 metrics across four key pillars: diversity, inclusion, people development, and news and controversies.
