Accenture has acquired Australian Oracle specialist PrimeQ for AU$31 million (US$22 million). As a result of the purchase Accenture has now become the largest provider of Oracle Cloud integration services in Australia and New Zealand. The deal is expected to boost Accenture’s Oracle-proficient local headcount by approximately 160 to more than 500 professionals while enhancing the technical capacity of both parties. James Madigan, Accenture’s Oracle lead in Australia and New Zealand, said PrimeQ has extensive experience in implementing cloud solutions, which complement Accenture’s established credentials across the Oracle Cloud portfolio. PrimeQ, an Adelaide-based firm founded in 2016 and has since rocketed to prominence in the Oracle SaaS enterprise resource planning space, and provides Oracle Cloud services to government, health and public service clients along with the retail, consumer goods and financial services sectors, and companies specialized in transportation, warehouse and customer relationship management. PrimeQ posted revenues of AU$28 million in its last financial year.
